I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and earned my Bachelors degree in Child Development and Family Relations with a minor in Psychology. I have been teaching preschool, ages 3-5, for 3 years, also I have been a lifeguard and swim instructor since I was 15 years old. I have been teaching children for the past 9 years between multiple sports and class levels. I have always dreamed of opening my own childcare center to ensure the best care and development for the children in the community. I am very excited to see how this opportunity of being C&M Play Studio’s Director has in store.

Hi! My name is Miss Kelly and I grew up in Bridgeville, PA. I received my Associates degree in Childcare at Community College of Allegheny County. I have been a nanny and preschool teacher for the past 5 years. Prior to that I was a stay at home mom to my 3 boys after being afforded the opportunity to “retire” from my restaurant manager position of 20 years. My passion has always been working with children and I couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to teach our future generation.

Hi! My name is Miss Jessica and I grew up in Lower Burrell, PA. I received my infant and toddler CDA from North Hampton Community College in 2019. I plan on starting my associates in Early Childhood Education in the near future. I have worked with infants for 14 years, mainly in the daycare setting but also I have nannied over the years. I am married and have two boys, Gavin and Luca! I believe all aspects of a child’s environment plays a major role in the success of their early development. It should enhance the children’s interest in all developmental areas.

I graduated from Community College of Allegheny County in May 2020 with my associate degree in Early Education and Child Development. I am also certified in infant Mental Health and Early Education, also from CCAC. This is my eighth year working with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years of age. I have been anything from a childcare provider to an in-home nanny to a nursery worker. I am continuing my education at California University of PA to earn a Bachelor's degree, also in the education field. I am very passionate about working with children and have dedicated my entire life to the field. My goal is to help your child reach milestones and goals with support on all domains of development while providing a safe and nurturing environment.

I attended Robert Morris University for two year majoring in Early Childhood Education & Special Education. I then transferred to Grand Canyon University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Management and have multiple years and certifications in Marketing.

I started my career as a Preschool Teacher at C&M Play Studio while I was still in school. I was hired before Abby even opened the doors of her facility. During that time, I was so excited to start teaching, so I made myself an entire binder full of my children's contact information, lesson plans, meet the teacher, worksheets, etc. When I did this, Abby saw that I had a creative side. Organically, I became the Marketing Director after a year which is when I started to take marketing more seriously, and fell in love with it.

In my free time, I enjoy binge watching tv shows on Netflix or rewatching my favorites! I’m known for obsessively watching musicals, like Hamilton and Rent, until i have them memorized. Hello, my name is Allison. I live in Scott Township with my husband and our two little boys. I have been a teacher for about 14 years. I have always wanted to work with children from a young age. I started at Wee Care Children’s Center when I was 16 working as a high school helper just so I could be around the children. I am so excited to be able to start here and get to work with each and every one of your children. In my free time my husband and I like to take the boys on a walk or to the park. We love to cuddle on the couch at night and watch movies with some popcorn.

Hi, my name is Miss. Stephanie. I grew up in the South Fayette area and my family and I now live in Oakdale. I have over 20 years of child care experience. I have always known working with children was my passion. I started in child care as a nanny when I was in my 20s while I was in college. Since then I have worked in child care facilities as well as a nanny for several local families. On my free time I like spending time with my family doing things outdoors. My kids love to race motocross, ride quads and play youth football. That keeps us busy.

Hi, my name is Miss April, I grew up on the South Side of Pittsburgh. I am new to childcare. My favorite things are having game and movie nights with my boys and during the summer we go swimming and to the park on a regular basis. I also like dancing, singing, and scrapbooking. My mission in the classroom is to interact with the children on a level of their understanding. I have always been interested in teaching children, but my life's path took me in a different direction. When COVID hit, I lost my job in healthcare but my passion for teaching was still there, so I took the chance and applied at C&M Play Studio. I am very excited to be here and begin my teaching career.

Hi! My name is Miss Heather and I was raised in Heidelberg, PA. I attended schools through Chartiers Valley and then go on to Community College of Allegheny County. Right after graduation, I began working with adults with Intellectual Disabilities. Assisted with daily living activities, administered medications, accompanied them to doctors appointments, community and social events. I spent over 20 years with these incredible people, while they remain in their homes, living life to the fullest. Of course my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. We enjoy going bike riding and fishing.

For me, placing my children in another persons’ hands feels like the most dreadful task. Even the most credited, trained teachers, I was always worrying about my kids when I’m not there. I never want any parent to feel that way.

My name is Amanda and I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I left Baltimore in 2009 shortly after marrying into the Army. I lived in Germany from 2009-2012. That is where I spent two years working at the Child Development Center working with preschool aged children before moving back to the United States; more specifically El Paso, TX. While living in Texas that is where I became a mom of one to a little boy and had the opportunity of volunteering at my son's daycare. We moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2018.

Hello! I am Miss Myranda! I am originally from upstate New York, but moved to Weirton, WV in 2016. I attended college at Robert Morris University then decided to permanently relocated to the Moon Township area after college. Hi! My name is Miss Sarah! I am originally from Clearfield, PA but now live in Burgettstown with my husband and our two cats. I also lived in Erie, PA while attending Edinboro University. While I have no kids of my own, I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews that I spend lots of time with. When I am not working, you can find me hiking or swimming at Racoon Creek State Park, crafting with my nieces, or curled up with a good book!

My love for early childhood education started when I was very young; I’ve always wanted to be a teacher! My favorite activities to teach are art based, and I love bringing science and nature exploration into the classroom. Hi! My name is Megan and I live in Oakdale with my husband, 3 daughters (13, 12 and 4) and 2 cats. After graduating from West Allegheny, I went to IUP for Elementary Education. I have been working with 2 year olds for the past 8 years and love watching their excitement as they learn something new. Fall is my favorite season and the best time to get out and do family things, but snow makes me happier than just about anything! My youngest daughter, Harper, has already declared C&M is the “best school ever!” and I look forward to us making some memories here!

In May of 2018 I graduated with my Masters in Early Childhood Education from California University of Pennsylvania. This is my first year teaching preschool at C&M Play Studio. I live in Moon, PA with my husband, our son Lucas, our corgi Goliath, and out cat Sebastian. I have three sisters and am an identical triplet!

Hi! My name is Mercedes Duncan, and I am your child’s Pre-K Teacher! I am a mother to 3 busy boys named, Caiden, Caisen, and Callen. I love spending time with my little family as we all go boating, on walks/hikes, and traveling to new places all around the country. I have been working with children ages 0-18 for 8+ years now, and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I currently hold a diploma and certificate in Child Development, and I will be graduating and continuing my education in January of 2025.
