C&M is a vibrant community that is dedicated to supporting all its members and reaching out to those who have not yet discovered us. We organize various fundraisers throughout the year that families can participate in to help us continue to grow this wonderful community. All the funds raised during these events are invested back into our program, teachers, students and events. You, too, can be a part of our weekend event days, which are typically scheduled once a month. IVF Raffle Ticket Fundraiser
Miss Heather and her husband Tony are natural caregivers. Their desire to be parents is evident - not only in their efforts to become so but also in the way they treat their nieces, nephews, and other children in their care. Despite being so able and prepared, life and its circumstances haven't made becoming parents an easy journey for them.
Shortly after marrying in 2016, they began trying to start a family. But, after a few years of trying on their own, they spoke to a doctor. Heather and Tony had tried everything from making lifestyle changes to changing their diets to taking multiple vitamins, but nothing seemed to work. In 2022, they went to see a specialist. After numerous tests, it was suggested that they try Intrauterine Insemination. They completed two rounds before being told there was no hope for a successful pregnancy and they should move on to IVF treatments.
In September 2023, they started the IVF process. They were very anxious and had their fears about starting the whole process. Unfortunately, the first round did not end in a successful pregnancy. Though statistically miscarriages happen one out of every four pregnancies, no one prepares you for the heartbreak when it happens to you.
For those of you who have also struggled with fertility issues, you understand the heartbreak of everything involved, as well as the financial challenge of it all. Fertility treatments are not covered by insurance and everything must be paid for out of pocket. This includes ultrasounds, bloodwork, procedures, IVF lab fees, facility fees, and medications among other things. Additional expenses for Heather's treatments include travel expenses and hotel fees because she has to travel to Buffalo, NY for treatments.
After the results of round one, Heather and Tony decided that they would wait a few months before trying again. In March 2024, they started the process again. This time, the couple is happy and hopeful in their journey to parenthood.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
Join us for our third year raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a foundation that raises money for childhood cancer.
Over 1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every day. ALSF raises money to fund research for childhood cancer because it is consistently underfunded compared to all other types of cancer research.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

Pirates Family Day
Join us for the Pittsburgh Pirates Family Day on Sunday, June 23rd at 1:35pm! All families that purchase a ticket here will get to sit in the same section!

Join us for our summer cookout! Each classroom will be creating a family-friendly yard game to play! Enjoy some burgers, hotdogs, chips and more as well as live music!

Back to School Donations
During the first week of school, we will be collecting back to school donations! Donations can be pencils, markers, paper, etc. There will be a box in the lobby to drop off any supplies that our teachers can use!
Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Suite
Join us on Friday, September 13th in the World Series Suite to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates game! The game starts at 6:40pm.

Trunk or Treat
Join us for our third annual Trunk or Treat where teachers (and parents, if you wish!) will be decorating their cars and passing out candy for Halloween. Don’t forget to dress up in your best family costumes, you might win our costume contest!
Holiday Shop
Our Holiday Shop will be held during the week of December 9th through December 14th! Students will head to our “shop” located in the gym to shop for small gifts for their families! All gifts will be priced at $10 and below.
Pictures with Santa
Come take some pictures with Santa, enjoy some hot cocoa, and fun holiday games for the whole family!
