Meet our Carnegie Location Educators

I’m Abby, the owner and founder of C&M Play Studio, an early childhood education facility with 18 classrooms, a large gym, over 50 amazing teachers, and more than 300 students enrolled. I’m also thrilled to be opening our second location in August 2025, which will feature 16 additional classrooms to serve even more families in our community.

I bring together my background in business, sports, and childcare, along with the inspiration and values I’ve gained from raising my own two children, to create a nurturing, innovative, and community-focused environment where children and families thrive.

I’m passionate about forming partnerships with other local businesses and supporting the needs of families in our community. As I prepare to open our second location, I’m excited to continue growing the vision of C&M Play Studio — offering even more opportunities for connection, learning, and joyful play.

I grew up in Bridgeville, PA, and earned my associate degree in Childcare from the Community College of Allegheny County. Before stepping into early education, I worked as a restaurant manager for 20 years, then became a stay-at-home mom to my three boys — one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. For the past five years, I’ve worked as a nanny and preschool teacher, following my true passion for working with children.

Since day one, I’ve had the privilege of leading our Carnegie location as Center Director. I’m dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff. Every day, I’m driven by the C&M mission to help build bright futures and strong communities.

Hi! I’m Miss Autumn, the Center Director for C&M! I grew up in Oakdale, PA, and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations and a minor in Psychology. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked with children through teaching, coaching sports, lifeguarding, and swim instruction, building a strong foundation in early childhood care and development.

My dream has always been to help create a childcare center that ensures the best possible environment for children and their families. As Center Director at our Cranberry, I oversee daily operations, support our teaching teams, and help maintain a warm, welcoming, and organized environment that aligns with C&M’s mission.

I’m so excited to grow our Cranberry community and look forward to partnering with families to give every child the strongest start possible!

I grew up in Bridgeville, PA, and studied Child Development and Family Relations with a minor in Sociology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I’ve officially been teaching since 2016, but I’ve been working with children for many years before that.

In my role as Assistant Center Director, I help with center-wide operations, supporting in overseeing classrooms, guiding staff, and building strong relationships with our families. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, consistent, and flexible environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

I’m so excited to continue growing with the C&M family and can’t wait to meet you and your child!

I live in Crafton, PA, and graduated from La Roche University with a degree in Child and Family Studies and a minor in Education. I have 10 years of experience in childcare and am passionate about helping children learn and grow.

At home, I love spending time with my daughter, McKinley, and my son, Dalton — you’ll usually find us camping, fishing, or snowmobiling together!

In my role as Assistant Center Director, I help support daily operations, manage staff, communicate with parents, and make sure student needs are met. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and ready to problem-solve, and I’m excited to help make each day at C&M a great one.

I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, with the past three years spent teaching Pre-K Blue here at C&M. Alongside teaching, I’ve served as a New Employee Trainer and recently helped develop our Substitute Teacher program. I also had the amazing opportunity to work with Miss Abby to organize our partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates!

I’m passionate about supporting each child as an individual and creating a classroom environment where everyone feels valued. Now, as Enrollment Director, I guide families through the enrollment process with care and attention to detail, making sure each new family feels confident and welcomed.

Outside of work, I stay busy with my three daughters — Bella, Phia, and Harper — whether I’m cheering on Friday Night Lights, at the dance studio, or on the softball field. I’m extremely family-oriented and love spending time with my parents and siblings whenever I can.

I was born and raised right here in Robinson Township, though I spent the last seven years living in Florida before happily returning home. My experience includes teaching in both public schools and childcare centers, working with first graders, sixth graders, and 4- to 5-year-old preschoolers. I believe that learning should be fun and that every child deserves to feel special and inspired to learn.

In my role as Assistant HR Director, I support staff with onboarding, scheduling, and their daily HR needs. Following in Jenna’s footsteps, I’m excited to continue strengthening our team through organization, positivity, and a passion for helping others thrive.

I’m so grateful to be part of the C&M family and look forward to supporting our staff and families!

I was born and raised in Minnesota and have worked in childcare for two years, after spending five years volunteering as a CCD teacher. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Information Technology and User Experience. Outside of work, I love creating — from paintings and drawings to sculptures and other art projects — and spending quality time with my family.

My mission has always been to bring creative, engaging, and educational projects to life, helping kids explore the world around them in meaningful ways. I love learning from their unique perspectives and fresh ideas!

In my new role as Assistant Behavior Director, I’ll be working closely with students and staff to support positive behavior strategies and classroom success. Under Miss Kathryn’s mentorship, I’ve built a strong foundation to continue this important work, and I’m excited to help every child feel supported and understood.

I grew up in Fairmont, West Virginia, and earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Fairmont State University in 2013. In 2018, I completed my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from California University of Pennsylvania.

This is my first year teaching preschool at C&M, and I’m thrilled to be here! I live in Moon, PA, with my husband, our son Lucas, our corgi Goliath, and our cat Sebastian. Fun fact — I’m an identical triplet and have three wonderful sisters!

As Education Director, I’ll be supporting both centers by guiding teachers with curriculum planning, lesson design, and classroom implementation. My goal is to ensure that every student at C&M receives high-quality, engaging learning experiences that help them thrive.

I grew up in McMurray, PA, and now live in Oakdale. I earned my associate degree in Early Education and Child Development from CCAC in 2020, along with certifications in Infant Mental Health and Early Education. I’m currently continuing my studies at California University of PA, working toward a bachelor’s degree in education.

Over the past eight years, I’ve worked with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in a variety of roles — from childcare provider to nanny to nursery worker. Supporting children in their growth and development has always been my passion, and I am dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe environment where they can reach their milestones and feel valued.

As Behavior Support Director, I’ll continue working across both C&M locations to support students, staff, and families. With my background in behavior management and partnerships with outside therapists, I strive to meet every child with compassion and understanding.

You’ll often find me sharing bright smiles and encouragement throughout our centers — I can’t wait to work with your family!

I started at C&M as a preschool teacher while finishing my degree in Management, and I’ve been part of the team since before we even opened our doors! What began as a love for teaching grew into a passion for marketing and design as I found ways to share the heart of our center with families.

Today, I use my background in management, marketing, and early education to help connect families with everything that makes C&M special. As Marketing Director supporting both locations, I lead communication and branding, bringing C&M’s voice to life. I’m the creative mind behind our messaging, helping families connect with our mission, learn about our programs, and stay engaged with everything happening here.

Hi! My name is Miss Vickie. I grew up in and still currently live in Hookstown, Pa. I have a son named Dylan who is 20 years old and attending Penn State University. In my spare time, I enjoy family vacations, especially ones to the beach! I love family outings and finding new places to explore. Ghost adventures are also a favorite of mine! I previously worked at a school district for 12 years and coached varsity cheer for the last seven years. I discovered my love for teaching has shifted into helping younger minds to become creative thinkers and independent learners. I can’t wait to watch your children learn and grow!

Hi! My name is Miss Heather and I was raised in Heidelberg, PA. I attended schools through Chartiers Valley and then go on to Community College of Allegheny County. Right after graduation, I began working with adults with Intellectual Disabilities. Assisted with daily living activities, administered medications, accompanied them to doctors appointments, community and social events. I spent over 20 years with these incredible people, while they remain in their homes, living life to the fullest. Of course my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. We enjoy going bike riding and fishing.

For me, placing my children in another persons’ hands feels like the most dreadful task. Even the most credited, trained teachers, I was always worrying about my kids when I’m not there. I never want any parent to feel that way.

Hello, my name is Miss Jade and I grew up in the airport area and currently reside in Imperial. My husband and I have 2 daughters and 1 son. I have previously worked in early education, childcare and behavioral health. While obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at RMU, I began working with children and quickly developed a passion for helping them learn and thrive! I believe all children should feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning environment. When I’m not at work I enjoy making memories with my family, going to concerts and taking my dog for walks!

Hi, I'm Miss. Madison but most call me Mads! I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, but spent some time away from Pittsburgh for college. I have been in the childcare field since early 2019! I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S of psychology! Most of my time at SRU was spent studying development of the brain and nervous system and the impact social emotional learning has on the brain!  I am currently enrolled in an MSW program, and excited to apply my knowledge to the classroom setting. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading, or getting outdoors! A motto I live by is “Forever in bloom”, which reminds me there is always room for learning, growth, and reflection. I am so honored to be able to learn, grow, and reflect alongside your children. My goal is to make the classroom accessible and engaging so  every child in the classroom feels seen, heard, appreciated, and understood!

Hi! I'm Christina from Bridgeville, PA. I graduated from Chartiers Valley High School, where I played softball as a pitcher and third baseman. I'm also a mom of two!

I've worked with children since high school and love helping infants learn, grow, and reach new milestones. My favorite part of the job is watching them discover new things and seeing their personalities shine.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding in our side-by-side, camping, and baking. I look forward to getting to know you and your little one!

i! My name is Meagan! I live with my fiancé, Brent, my two sons, Maverick(4) and August(1), and our cats, Tucker and Toast. We live just across the state line in Weirton, West Virginia! We love pool days with our family in the summer and family game nights in between! If I'm not with my kids, you'll probably find me at a Taylor Swift concert, a broadway show downtown, or just at home playing video games! I cry when watching celebrity award shows and at every wedding i have ever been or will attend, so if you ever need someone to cry with, I'm your girl! We love music in our room! You will almost always hear some songs jamming and (probably) off key singing coming from our room during our favorite emotional regulation activity- disco dance parties!! In the words of Taylor Swift... Sometimes you just gotta "shake it off!" 🪩💃

With all seriousness, being a teacher is such an important part of any child's life no matter the age and i am honored to be an infant teacher for the little minds here at C&M. This center has become family to not only me, but also my sons (who I am often convinced like their teachers more than me) and being able to provide that same bond for other kiddos in my care holds a special place in my heart. Forever thankful to those who love my own kiddos and to all of you for trusting me to love yours.❤️

Hi, my name is Miss Nicole, and I currently live in Bridgeville. I live with my Husband , our three kids and two dogs.  My oldest son is 16 and my girls are 11 and 9. I just graduated CCAC with an associates in psychology and am planning to further my education in child and adolescent development at SNHU this coming year.  While I have been working at C&M for about a year , I recently started working in the classrooms and fell in love with the children and the entire learning environment. I love watching the children grow and hit their milestones. In my free time I enjoy traveling to new places and showing my kids different parts of the world ! 

Hi! My name is Savannah and I am from Scott Township. I graduated from Chartiers Valley in 2021. I have been in the daycare setting for 2.5 years, along with about 1 year of babysitting. I am also planning on getting my CDA soon. In my free time I love to relax and watch tv shows/movies, I also hangout with my sister and my dog Rocco! I am so excited to meet all of you and to help your little one learn and grow!

Welcome to Baby Green my name is April and I have been with C and M PlayStudio since 2022. I live on the South Side of Pittsburgh. I have 4 wonderful boys Izaiah (27), Elijah (23), Ke’nan (19), and Zhane (13). I am a very proud Marine MoM. (Ke’nan is my Marine). I also have a grandson Noah (2). I graduated from Everest with a diploma in Medical Assistanting. In my spare time I love to go swimming, take my 13 year old to the park, and go out shopping. I love watching the children at C and M play studio learn, grow, and play.

Hi, I’m Miss.Steph. I grew up in South Fayette, and now living in the McDonald area with my husband and kids. My passion has always been working with children. I started out babysitting when I was a teen. I then became a nanny and worked at a local daycare while I was in college. I have over 20 years of childcare experience and couldn’t imaging doing anything else. In my free time I like reading, being at home with my dogs and doing things outdoors with my family. I have two sons who both race motocross, and ride quads. My youngest son plays football and lacrosse. I love working at C&M. It’s such a rewarding job watching the children learn and grow.

Hello Everyone! My name is Miss Mariah, and I can't wait to get to know you and your little ones. Just a little bit about me is I love the beach, reading, and hanging out with my family. I am currently enrolled at SNHU pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology. I am also a mother to a sassy little princess named Renesmee who is honestly my best friend. I come from a big family, being the oldest of 6, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I believe that is where my love of children started as I was always the one my siblings looked up to and leaned on whenever they faced any obstacle in life. I am so excited to watch your little ones grow and be by their side throughout the days.

Hello! My name is Takaila, and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve had the opportunity to serve overseas through missions work and work with children, experiences that have shaped who I am today.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, taking photos, and editing them. I’m also actively involved in my church’s young adult group on Wednesday nights.

I have 6 plus years of childcare experience and am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to learn through play and exploration. My name is Mady I’m a mom of a 8 month old baby boy and cherish every second of it . I’m from the south Fayette area I’ve been a nanny for past 2 years and loved it. Early childhood development is a true passion of mine. I enjoy helping the children grow and learn new things. My goal is to help the students learn in a fun way by keeping the activities interesting and educational.

Hi I’m Micah and I live in the south hills with my husband Theo and our son Eddison! I went to school to study nutrition but have always fallen back to childcare. I have been taking care of kids since I was a teenager and it has easily been my favorite job! I have worked with all ages from babies to school age and I love them all. Getting to watch children discover their world and environment is the most beautiful thing to be apart of. I’m so grateful to be apart your child's life and help them learn and grow to be wonderful humans.

Hi! My name is Miss Kate! I grew up in Independence, and graduated from Hopewell. I went to Mercyhurst College, and some graduate course work at RMU. I have been working in childcare/teaching for the last 16hrs. I worked as a private nanny for a few families in those years; i also worked at a daycare until I moved to Japan to teach English. Upon returning from Japan, I ran a yoga studio in Moon and spent most of my time teaching yoga, and working part time as a nanny.

I had my daughter, Georgia, in 2022 and decided to find a place for both of us to learn and grow together. And C&M has been a loving family for us to join! I love helping little ones figure out and navigate through the world, and I’m excited to be a part of that journey.

My name is Miss Tammy. I have 2 years of childcare experience. I was born and raised in raised in New Sewickley Township on a little farm. I have a 35 year old son who is married and has a 6 year old son. My grandson is my JOY!! I love to travel and go to the beach. My zen is sitting on my porch with a good book. I feel that every child is special in their own way. My goal is to bring that special out in every child.

Hello, I'm Miss Heather, pleased to be a teacher in the toddler orange classroom at C&M. With nearly a decade of marriage to my best friend, we're expecting our first child, Elijah, in December 2024. I possess over thirteen years of childcare experience, spanning both daycare and nannying roles. In my leisure time, I enjoy exploring new destinations, such as Iceland, Ireland, and Italy, and engaging in activities with friends and family, including board games, movies, comedy shows, concerts, and supporting my nephew's sporting endeavors. I'm passionate about childcare and dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that encourages learning and growth.

Hi! I'm Miss Hannah and I have a Paraprofessional Education Associate’s Degree and a Certificate in American Sign Language from the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC). I have 3 years of experience working and studying with children and individuals with special needs. Before joining C&M, I led the Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) Club at my college where I hosted festivals and created events.

Hello, families!! My name is Talia and I’m so excited to get to meet you and your children. I have over 15 years of casual and professional child care experience. I’m currently attending Carlow University to receive a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre-k through 4th grade) with a teaching certificate. One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is connecting with not only the children, but the families as a whole. It takes team work to make a dream work! I’m very into theatre and Broadway, so expect lots of singing and dancing whenever I’m around. One of my favorite parts of teaching littles is working on social and emotional skills. Well rounded and emotionally intelligent children become amazing and emotionally intelligent adults! I look forward to getting to know you!! :)

Hi, My name is Caitlyn! I live in Scott township, and I've worked in a daycare for two and a half years, but I've babysat since I was 14! I enjoy being around my family, and having game nights with my friends! I am a licensed nail technician and esthetician ! i plan to help children grow and learn within the classroom and succeed outside of the classroom!

I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, watching sports and going to my kids sporting events on the weekends. I’ve worked in childcare for 10 years. My name is Amanda and I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I left Baltimore in 2009 shortly after marrying into the Army. I lived in Germany from 2009-2012. That is where I spent two years working at the Child Development Center working with preschool aged children before moving back to the United States; more specifically El Paso, TX. While living in Texas that is where I became a mom of one to a little boy and had the opportunity of volunteering at my son's daycare. We moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2018.

Hi! My name is Miss Shawna! I am from New Enterprise, PA and moved to this area for college. I attended college at Robert Morris University then decided to permanently relocated to the Moon Township area after college. I have worked in childcare since I was 16 nannying for families, nannying for an agency, working at a daycare in the Bedford area, then doing my student teaching and subbing. I like going shopping and spending time with my friends. I also love going to coffee shops and trying new coffee shops around. I wanted to become a teacher because of my teachers when I was younger had a large positive impact on my life and helped me get though things as a child. I want to be this role model for children. I also love getting to know the children I am working with and finding out about the things that interest them and make them who they are.

For those of you I have not had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Miss Deidra and I am thrilled and excited to be apart of the C&M family! Since graduating from Point Park, I have been working in child care for 6 years and I’ve have enjoyed every minute! I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of my new friends and growing along with some familiar faces in the next year!!

I have been working in childcare for 15 years. I started the January after I graduated high school. I've worked with kids of all ages from infants to 14. When I'm not teaching or caring for friends I'm reading with my ragdoll cat named Brookes in my lap or playing video games one the couch. On the weekends I love to go camping and fishing, I love the outdoors. My mission for my classroom is to help my students to better help themselves not only in school and their learning journey but throughout their everyday lives as well. Seeing these types of accomplishments whether it be social, academic, or physical is the reason I do what I do!

Hello, I’m Miss Sarah! I’m originally from Clearfield PA, have lived in Erie, and now I am currently living in Burgettstown with my husband and 3 cats.

In my free time, you can find me going on adventures with my nieces and nephews, playing my Nintendo switch, or cuddled up with a book.

I became an early childhood educator after realizing my passion for nurturing and teaching children. Watching children reach milestones while growing, learning, and making meaningful connections with peers is so rewarding!

My favorite part of our routine is choice play and small group. Having a background in environmental studies, I love bringing nature and science into the classroom as often as I can.

Hi! My name is Miss Tori. I grew up in Moon Township with my mom and two older sisters. I graduated from Moon Area High school in 2018, and after high school I studied Early Childhood Education at CCAC. All throughout high school I took Child Development classes, where I discovered a love and passion for teaching young learners. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to camp, and relaxing watching Netflix and YouTube.

​Hi! My name is Miss Ashley and I’m from Charleston, South Carolina and then moved to PA and grew up in Moon Township. I graduated from High School in California in 2009, and then made my way back to PA. I live in Beaver County with my husband and our son Jackson. I worked as an orthodontist assistant for 9 years but after my son was born I decided it was time for a career change! I am excited to learn and grow with all of the children at C&M!

Hi! My name is Miss Karen. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and I have worked in childcare for 6 years. I am married with 3 amazing sons, a golden retriever, a parakeet, and a guinea pig! When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and friends watching movies, playing games, listening to music, and being outdoors. I especially enjoy gardening, camping, bonfires, and soaking in my hot tub! I became a teacher because it is so fulfilling, and being around children gives me great joy. My mission in the classroom is to create a safe, fun and supportive class experiences, and to teach children to love learning!

Hi! My name is Jessica DeFilippis. I’m a graduate of Duquesne University where I majored in Journalism and English. I later earned my elementary teaching certification at the University of Pittsburgh. I now hold teaching certifications in Elementary Education and English grades 7-12. I’ve worked with children in various capacities for over 20 years. I’ve taught kindergarten, first grade, and preschool. I also have experience substitute teaching at the elementary level and tutoring students from elementary grades all the way up to college. I truly love working with children and building meaningful connections with them. It is always my goal as an educator to create lessons and deliver instruction that reach all students. I strive to provide students with fun, engaging learning experiences in a caring environment that fosters a genuine love of learning. In my spare time I love being with my kids and my dog! I enjoy taking hikes, reading, watching the Steelers, and gardening.

Hi! My name is Miss Emily and I grew up in Allegheny Township. I currently reside in Crafton, PA with my husband, daughter and son. I graduated from Penn State University in 2015 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. This is my 4th year teaching Preschool – PreK!

Hi! My name is Maze. I’m from Oakdale, PA, though I’ve lived in Tennessee twice—once in Chattanooga and once in Nashville. Growing up, I was always drawn to helping care for children. I volunteered in my childhood church’s 3‑year‑old classroom and often babysat, but it wasn’t until this past year, after entering the childcare industry, that I realized working with children is truly what I want to do. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with the goal of teaching Elementary K–3. I strive to create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to learn, grow, and be themselves.

Hi, I'm Miss Liz and I am eager to start working with your young learners at C&M! I was born in Nashville, TN but spent most of my childhood in the Latrobe area. Growing up outside of the city definitely helped to shape the kind of teacher I am today. I deeply value environmental education, and I think that exposing children to nature at a young age helps them and our community in a number of ways. Through building a connection with the world around us, students become more responsible, inquisitive, and conscientious.

I attended Slippery Rock University for both my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, and my master's in Environmental Education. I completed my master's in 2024 while working full time as a Kindergarten Paraeducator. It was great to get to share my experience with my class at the time, exemplifying a life long love of learning.

In my role as one of the center's PreK teachers, my mission is to foster community, respect, kindness, and responsibility. I strive to make my classroom a welcoming and safe space so that my students feel at peace and are able to focus on learning through play.

Hi! My name is Miss Alyssa, and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I graduated from CCAC in 2019 with an Associate of Science Degree in Early Education and Child Development. In 2022, I graduated from La Roche University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in PreK-4 Education. My passion for teaching young learners began during my senior year of high school when I had the opportunity to work in the preschool program at my school. Over the years, I have gained experience working with children of many different age groups through student teaching, tutoring, babysitting, and school-based positions. In addition, I volunteered for many years at Animal Friends, where I was an assistant to the education coordinator and helped with kids camps and programs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, dog, family, and friends. I also enjoy traveling, drawing, playing games, going to concerts, and watching movies. Hello, I’m Breanna! I am originally from the Southern Tier area in New York but moved to Pittsburgh in August 2022! I have been in a classroom since I graduated high school, and when I moved to Pittsburgh becoming a teacher felt like the right move! In my classroom, I strive to teach kids confidence in trying new things, teaching them independence and creating an inviting and loving classroom where kids learn and grow! I’ve been at C&M Play Studio since the beginning of March and been loving every minute of it!

Hello!! I'm Miss Haylee! I got into teaching because I have always loved caring for children. Even in high school, I was always the neighborhood babysitter. Born in Seattle, bouncing all around the country, sticking mostly in Florida or Pittsburgh. I chose to stay in Pittsburgh for my family, they're my biggest support & reason why I do what I do. Outside of the classroom I enjoy dancing on a drill team! So I like to bring dance, fun & movement back to the kids. My goal for every classroom I go into, is boost every child's confidence & help learn how to strive independently!

Hi! My name is Miss. Meghan and I am originally from New Jersey, but have been living in Pittsburgh since graduating from Pitt in 2023. I’ve worked in childcare for a few years now, with experience as a summer camp counselor, a babysitter, and a nature preschool teacher! My goal is definitely to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere in the classroom for everyone. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends, go hiking, do my nails, and hang out with my cat, Pearl!

Hi families, I’m Miss Terrian! I’m originally from Weirton, West Virginia. I graduated from Fairmont State University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I come from a 6+ year background of social work, predominantly working with at risk youth and juvenile delinquents. I decided to explore the child care field after having my sweet baby boy in October 2020. Prior to joining C&M, I taught Pre-K for a year. Over the years I have encountered children from all different walks of life. I truly believe that every child is unique in their own way & that’s what makes them each so special. I am very eager to get to know all of the C&M kiddos and find fun, creative ways to help them all learn and grow!

Hi! My name is Miss Amanda, and I’ve been with C&M for a little over a year. Before joining C&M, I spent six years working at Children’s Hospital, where I developed a deep passion for caring for and supporting children.

I’m a proud mom to my son, Lane. We live in Hopewell, PA, with our two fur kitties, Chloe and Jasper. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, whether we’re camping, hiking, or simply making memories together with our loved ones.

I strive to create a classroom environment that is warm, calm, and engaging, where every child feels safe, supported, valued, and excited to learn through play and exploration.I’m so excited to get to know you and your little ones, and I look forward to an amazing year filled with learning, laughter, and growth!

Hi! My name is Miss Lisa and I grew up in Greensburg, PA and I have two sons, Emmett and Griffin. I graduated from Carlow University and earned my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching Preschool and Pre-K for 13 years.

Hello! I'm Miss Kacie!

I am originally from Chippewa, I have 2 girls, and have a passion for music that ends up with me performing randomly throughout the day in class!

I have worked in child care for about 5 years with some breaks in between including social work!

Growing up I played a lot of sports mainly focusing on soccer. I was THAT student doing musicals and playing soccer!

I want the kiddos in my care to feel safe in being themselves! It's okay to be silly and be free, as long as there is respect involved as well as listening to the teachers!

Hello! I am Kaitlyn and I am so excited to be spending the summer at C&M! I’ve been working with students for over 15 years and have a background in early childhood, elementary, and special education. I love creating a fun, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, included, and excited to learn and grow.

I’m also a mom to a one-year-old daughter who attends C&M and seeing how much she loves it has made me love being part of this community even more! When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends or heading to a Pittsburgh sports game or concert.

Hi, I’m Miss Caitlin and I am so excited to be working at C&M! I graduated in 2021 from California University of Pennsylvania with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ever since I can remember, my mom would tell me stories of how I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up and here I am! I started working in daycares when I was 19 with all ages. From there, I spent some time working as a substitute teacher in elementary schools. Now I am here, ready for a new adventure of teaching! My goal when teaching is to create a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment where children can learn and grown academically and personally. I became a teacher because I love seeing the minds of children grow and building connections. I can’t imagine doing anything else. I currently live in Crafton, PA with my fiancé Joe. In my free time I like to read, paint, watch TV, drink coffee, bake, and spend time with friends and family. I can’t wait to spend time with your littles and help shape them into the best they can be!
