The preschool curriculum is taught starting at 9am for those looking just for the preschool experience and finishes up at 3:30. A daily schedule is provided for each classroom so parents can choose the hours they would like their child at the center based on their needs.

What is the teacher to child ratio?

Teacher to student ratio is different per classroom and is dependent on age.

  • Infant 1:4

  • 2 Year 1:6

What is your discipline policy?

Disciplinary techniques that we use are remind, redirect, remove from situation and time out. We try to catch the children doing something right as we believe positive reinforcement works much better than negativity.

What security features does your center provide?

Security is a top priority at the center. Each room is equipped with cameras. To enter our facility, you must enter a personal code. This allows us to know exactly who is in the building at all times. Every family must fill out proper forms for authorized pick up people who will all have their own codes. You must also sign your child in and out on the computer with a separate code.

Who else can have my code?

No on else should ever get your code. Each caregiver has their own code to ensure safety in the building. If it is learned that a code is not used by the authorized adult, it will be immediately removed.

You will bring in a written letter stating who will be picking up your child. That person will need to bring an ID to present before releasing your child into their care.

What Covid precautions are you taking?

As adults, we are taking every precaution we can to ensure the safety of your child and their health. We are conducting daily temperature checks, a bathroom designated for hand-washing before entrance into the classroom, and a scientifically-backed cleaning system that is both effective and safe for the children. In addition, each classroom has a bathroom in it to reduce cross-usage. All staff and parents entering the facility will be required to wear a mask at all times. In these uncertain times, rest assure that the safety and development of your child is the number 1 priority of C&M Play Studio.

Preschool

What preschool curriculum is used?

The very talented teachers at C&M have worked tirelessly to provide their students a curriculum that highlights the important areas of development through environmental exploration and play.  Here at C&M, we have created our own curriculum to ensure that students are getting the most well-rounded experience while they are with us.  Our curriculum focuses on social and emotional learning through teacher led and peer discussions during all activities by providing talking points for all activities.  We have divided our curriculum into four different, overlapping age groups to put developmental needs of the individual child at the forefront of our mission.
