Meet our toddler classroom teachers!
Hi! My name is Dana and I grew up in Mt Washington, PA and I currently reside in Scott Township. I am a mother of two girls and have been working for about 15 years on and off. My mission in the classroom is to help them find their own little personalities and learn new things.
Hi! My name is Mindy Cumblidge. I grew up in Hookstown, PA. I graduated in 2008 and I have two boys, Landon (11) and Camron (9). I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, watching sports and going to my kids sporting events on the weekends. I’ve worked in childcare for 10 years. I enjoy working with kids and am looking forward to starting this new journey at C&M Play Studio.
My name is Amanda and I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I left Baltimore in 2009 shortly after marrying into the Army. I lived in Germany from 2009-2012. That is where I spent two years working at the Child Development Center working with preschool aged children before moving back to the United States; more specifically El Paso, TX. While living in Texas that is where I became a mom of one to a little boy and had the opportunity of volunteering at my son's daycare. We moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2018.
Hi! My name is Miss Vesta. I am one of the teachers in the drop in room! I’ve been working with children since I was 16 and I love getting to watch them grow and develop into a person of their own. My niece, Presley, is in the infant room. In the past, I went to Robert Morris University, but transferred to pursue Psychology! I recently had been working with 3 year olds, but have had experience with infants to school age. I’m so excited to learn and work with your children!
Hi! My name is Miss Alicia and I am thrilled to be one of the teachers in the transition room here at C&M! I graduated from Brooke High School in 2011 and am married with three incredible children of my own. Addisyn, Parker, and Maverick. I think that working in childcare is the most rewarding and fun job that you could possibly have! I am so excited to be a part of C&M Play Studio.
Hi! My name is Lilia and I grew up in Johnstown, PA. I graduated from York College in 2020 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services- Youth Development. This is my first year teaching at C&M Play Studio. I have been working with children since I was 13 and love every second of it!
Hi! My name is Kari and I recently just graduated from Robert Morris University with a BS in Psychology and Education! I’ve been working in childcare for 4 years and am excited to continue at C&M! When I’m not at work, I love to play with my puppies, try new restaurants and explore all things Pittsburgh!
Hi! My name is Miss McCall. I first started working in childcare in 2015 by working at a summer camp. I then eventually started working in a daycare setting in October of 2021. I currently reside in Mount Washington and went to school at Indiana University of Pennsylvania to study Child Development and Family Relations. I have a twin sister who is the mother of two, going on three boys (due August 2022), who are the absolute loves of my life. Some things that I enjoy most are going to music festivals and traveling.
Hi my name is Tammy, I currently reside in Ambridge. I graduated from United High School. I worked retail all my life and decided it was time for a change so I went into child care. I have three children of my own and four, soon to be five grandchildren. I love to be outdoors as much as possible, love music, doing puzzles and reading when I can also try to do some crafts when I can.
Hi there! My name is Miss Lindsay, and I couldn’t be more excited to be at C&M Play Studio. I currently reside in Carnegie, but have lived on the South Side and went to the University of Pittsburgh where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Gender Studies. I don’t have any children myself (unless you count my two cats, who are very spoiled), but have been working in professional early childhood education for five years. I grew up in Lancaster County where my mom worked as a Montessori teacher of two year olds, so naturally I spent lots of time in classrooms, getting into babysitting as early as 14. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, as well as using art, music, and sensory activities for expressions of self and big feelings. Outside of work, I love re-watching The Office and New Girl, going on hikes and runs, and crafting. I also love pickles and anything with chocolate and peanut butter. Lastly, I promise to be a loving, silly, and dedicated teacher who provides a safe and joyful environment while your child is in our classroom.
